Remarks: On June 21st, 1942, a Japanese submarine fired upon the Oregon Coast at Fort Stevens, Oregon. Sixty-six years later, all that remains of this once active and engaged World Ware II battle station are cold cement blocks and twisted indifferent steel forms.
